| Artist Statement |
I've always loved dogs. As a kid, I used to go to my next door neighbor's house just to visit their Dachshund, Ginger. I begged my parents to get a dog, and since then I've always had a Miniature Dachshund.
Each dog has his or her own beauty and charm. I try to bring that out in my portraits. If the dog is an especially good model, I like to go in a more creative direction with the photo-shoot and see what happens. I hope my love for dogs comes through in the way I photograph them. |
